OFJCC Project

Definitions of Work Processes

Calendar Planning

Collating dates and times for OFJCC programs, relevant community events, and Jewish holidays. The final product is a master OFJCC calendar usable by staff to schedule additional events. Also serves as a reference for all staff on upcoming events for better member service.

Fund Development

Approaching individual donors, grant applications, or broad campaigns. All activities that attempt to secure money or services for the OFJCC's programs and services.

Registration

All the procedures that "sign up" members or participants for a particular program, event, or class. Tyically involves capturing name, email, phone, and address as well as the name of the event. Could also involve collecting payment or processing credit cards. The outcome is an accurate list of all members desiring a particular event, which may be used for check-in at the start of the event, calculating the current count for the event, and for follow-up afterwards.

Scholarship

Determining who will receive a free or reduced-fee admission to classes, events, courses, or any other OFJCC event. The total dollar amount available will usually be decided elsewhere, but the allocation of those monies to particular people is the domain of Scholarship.
